Front Lawn, Town and First Floor Lobby , Sunday Morning
Dawn's plan had been to go to J,GoB's in town and get some breakfasty things before Sam woke up, so she could yell at him for leaving her behind when he went to do dangerous demony things the night before on a full stomach. It was freezing, but it was just external cold and not the cold that had almost frozen her from the inside during the week, so she didn't mind so much.
That plan very quickly changed the first time she got hit in the head with a falling meatball. "What the--" She looked up as she watched the meatball roll away from her into the grass, and managed to avoid the second, and the third, but not the fourth or most of the ones after that.
So, she ran much more quickly into town and picked up some brownies, but mostly she invested in a bunch of sub rolls and some napkins. She stepped out of the bakery, brandishing the sub roll at the sky with vigor and a slightly maniacal gleam in her eyes. "Back! Back, if you don't want to be eaten!" Then she held another (open) roll over her head as she ran back to school.
Dawn dumped the bag of rolls on the floor of the lobby and headed out to catch herself some breakfast.
[ooc: Open to all. Feel free to catch your own meatball sub. If soda rain starts, feel free to say that cups are supplied as well.]

Another soon followed, bounced off one of her headdresses' wings and into her hand -- it was a meat of some sort. "Wha--?"

She walked out, reaching just about her head to deflect the rain from her...and ended up with a meatball bouncing off her hand, into her hair, and down in front of her.
She stared at it. "Okay, that's SO not fair."

Note that he skipped right past the question "Are there seriously meatballs falling from the sky?" and went straight to the important part.
The priorities of an eighteen-year-old boy used to bizarre occurrences are interesting indeed.

Sokka waved at everyone and went straight to stuffing his face.
"HI" he said, through a mouthful of meat.
