Gym - Cheerleading practice - Wednesday, Feb. 7 - after classes

Molly went down to the gym early again and got everything set up for cheer practice.

She spent some time practicing her punches while she waited for the others to show up.

"So you weren't around at Christmas," he began, talking quickly. "And I completely forgot I had this for you and I don't know if I'm supposed to just hold it over for another time, but it was supposed to be a Christmas gift." Alec paused in talking, grimacing slightly. "I hope that doesn't mean it's ruined or anything, being that late. Anyway, here." He held the bag (http://pics.livejournal.com/x5_alec/tags/molly/) out to her somewhat sheepishly.

Molly beamed at him. "You got me a Christmas present? You didn't have to do that." She accepted the bag despite what she said. She squeed when she pulled the gifts out of the bag and gave Alec a big hug. "Wow, Alec! Thank you! I love them."

He hugged back and grinned at her as he pulled away, relieved. "Really?"

Molly nodded emphatically. "The hat and goggles are really cool and I can't wait to wear them," she said with a grin. "And I can always use bike polish. I like it when my swoopbike is shiny."

But then, she looked back at the gifts in her hand and bit her lip. "I... didn't buy many gifts for people for Christmas though. I just didn't have the money. I'm sorry I don't have anything to give back to you."

He grinned. "Don't worry about it. Will you stick around here next year though? I kind of missed having more friends around for my first Christmas."

Molly gave him a guilty frown and hugged him again. "I'm sorry I missed your first Christmas," she said. "I will definitely stay here next Christmas."
