Gym - Cheerleading practice - Wednesday, Feb. 7 - after classes

Molly went down to the gym early again and got everything set up for cheer practice.

She spent some time practicing her punches while she waited for the others to show up.

Buffy grinned. "Hey, Molly. We're planning what to do when we win!"

She bounced a little.

"Hmm, no. I'll have to think about it," Molly said. "Something where we can be loud and silly though. 'Cause, speaking for myself, there will be a lot of yelling and being silly."

Buffy giggled. "I like the sound of that. To get there, though, maybe we should practice a little? I don't see Janet or Phoebe yet, but maybe we could do something? I'm pretty strong, Molly's pretty strong... Hey, Annette? You afraid of heights?"

She laughed, "Loud and silly work for me." Shrugging a shoulder, she answered Buffy, "I used to be. So I guess that would be a no."

Molly grinned at Annette. "Want to try flying then?"

Buffy bounced hopefully. "You wouldn't fall, I promise!"

Annette giggled and did a little bounce, nodding her head. "Okay. Let's do it."

"Woo hoo!" Molly said and went to get in position for tossing.

Buffy went to stand next to Molly, standing with her feet far apart so Annette could step onto her thigh. She had her hands out to help support her.

Taking hold of Buffy's hand, Annette carefully but firmly placed her foot on her thigh, stepping up while she supported herself with Molly's help.

"Okay, guys, it's been a while since I did this..." She took a deep breath and looked down at them, giving them a little nod. "Ready."

Molly made sure she stayed steady for Annette and looked over to Buffy to wait for the signal. "Ready."

Buffy nodded, tensing a little as she prepared herself. "Okay. One - two - THROW!"

And up Annette went! The toss was similar to a basket toss (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v216/serenityunleashed/Basket_Toss-an.gif) but it wasn't quite as high as there were only two to toss her. But still, it was so great! And she did her toe touches perfectly before she came back down.

Molly kept her eyes on Annette the whole time and braced herself to catch the other girl gently when she came back down.

Buffy kept her hands raised and ready to catch Annette, smiling happily at the successful toss.
