The Roof, Late Monday Night

Anders wasn't as physically drained as Tannim was, but after returning from the Underworld he was emotionally exhausted.

Any recent attempts to cut back on the number of cigarettes he consumed went up in -- pun intended -- smoke as he paced the roof, trying to get some semblance of control back.

Actually, he was mostly trying to prevent himself from throwing up, or having a nervous breakdown, or completely losing it one way or another. He'd never had to help kill a friend before . . . even if it had really been a monster wearing a friend's face.

With any luck he'd never have to do it again.

[OOC: The roof is the place for emo -- and open.]

"It's okay," Bridge says. "It just... took us a while that we work much, much better as friends."

"That can happen." Parker thinks that was definitely the case of herself and Lee, though probably not for the same reasons as Rory and Bridge. "I'm glad you're still friends, though."

"Me too," Bridge says. "How are *you* doing, after... everything this weekend?" he looks at her, his gaze searching.

Parker looked away, and her entire reaction can be summed up with, "Not. Great." She sighed, sending out another stream of nicotine. "Coping. Kind of. Mostly. It's gonna take a while, though." She tilted her head. "You? And with this whole Bel thing, on top of that...."

Bridge makes a face and shudders just a little. "I can't believe those were *people* once," is all he says.

Parker, all too sadly, can. "Yeah. I know. They're going to give me the creeping horrors for weeks." She sighed. "I hope someone does something about them. And I wish we could find out about it...."
