Roof: Tuesday all day

Blair had successfully avoided talking about anything Miranda-related for all of Monday. Hanging around River long enough had taught him how to push things to the back of his mind fairly well. Knowing that it couldn't last forever he made his way to the roof with a blanket and took a seat where he could see the grounds.

The height didn't thrill him that much, but it seemed like a convenient place to be by himself but still see hear the sounds of people being alive. After Miranda, he wasn't so interested in finding silence.

"He was a good guy," Shawn said. "Just had a whole lot of power he couldn't control. Which is why they went the meditation route with the rest of us, just in case."

"What do you with people like that? People that are dangerous because they don't always have control?"

"The government have the rather radical view that you should lock them up," Shawn said with a shake of his head. "Spent six months in quarantine facilities because of that theory."

"Personally, I've found control just comes with time," he continued, going back and re-adjusting one string again. "Not that I'm an expert in these things. I'm really not."

"Locking them up doesn't work." Blair said, and while he was trying to keep focused on Sean, his thoughts kept going back to River. "Time is good, but what happens if you hurt people...kill people before you learn control?"

"I've never let it go that far," Shawn said slowly. He chewed his lip as he thought of just what could have happened with Danny if someone hadn't have been there to stop him. "Can't help you there."

"Was afraid of that." Blair muttered. "Thanks anyway, man."

Shawn shrugged, and gave Blair a contrite smile. "Sorry I couldn't be more uplifting," he replied, and went back to his practise as his mun is about to fall asleep on her laptop.
