The posters advertising the dance were still there as well as more balloons and fresh Valentine's themed baked goods. There were tickets available for the dance as well as the sign-up sheet for the rose sale.

Isabel sat back and sipped her coffee, trying to look cheerier then she felt.

[Handwaving getting tickets or flowers is just fine. But chatting is always welcome. I'll be around most of the day. Comments on the flower post ARE screened.]

"Just be careful with that, you don't want to see anyone matched up with Fosse, the janitor troll," she laughed. "Although from a practical joke standpoint, that does have potential."

"The heuristics should be better then that..." Ami grinned "But yes. The practical jokes are almost countless."

"Sadly most of my friends are involved. Otherwise I'd be thinking of who to sign up," Isabel shrugged. "So are you going to the dance?"

"I think so. I haven't really discussed it with Billy yet though. You?"

"Greg officially asked me last night. But it was kind of a given that we were going," she said with a fond smile.

"Formalities are important though." Ami grinned. "Did you go last year? What happens at one of these? Other then the obvious dancing?"

"I went last year. Since I didn't have a date I spent a good part of the night in the snark corner with the single people. But it was a lot fun," Isabel grinned. "We got to mock the happy dating people."

"There was a snark corner? Officially?" Ami was only mildly baffled by this.

"Officially, yes. Peter and I came up with the idea," she explained. "Since we were both single at the time."

"Which Peter? Ami just had to know.

"Parker. As opposed to Steve Peter, English Peter or Weird Peter," she chuckled.

"There are officially too many Peters. I should not complain though, i come from the land of a billion Sakuras."

"There are," Isabel nodded. "Way, way too many. But I do enjoy listening to radio try and keep them straight."

"Every time the radio mentions a Peter, i jsut get confused as to who it is... I know there is Peter Parker and Peter Pevensie and um... some more Peters?"

"There's weird Peter and it's best not to think about him. Cause he is very, very, very strange," she said making a face. "And then there's Peter Petrelli who lives on our floor. He's very nice. Cute to."

"Tell me about it," Isabel agreed. "I'm at the point where I at least recognize faces. But if you asked me everyone's name? I'm clueless."

"We did actually. Last summer when the new people came in. Somehow it got combined with shirtless Friday." She smiled happily at the memory.
