Parker was talking as she entered the common room. "And this is the Second Floor Common Room, which is the best, of course. Anyone will tell you that. It got blown up once, but then it was fixed."

She flipped on the TV set and started looking for Smile Time or a monster movie.

And possibly other students to inflict wee tiny grown ups on.

"He's never met you, and you've never met him, and somehow? I think you'd get along real well right now." At least, way better than when they were both in their teens.

Parker had never had the impulse to hug anyone from sheer adorableness in her life. Except now. "Or what?" she teased.

It would be wrong to encourage that vengeful streak. Yes. Yes it would.

"Okay, Jarod. I'll make sure he knows that." Yeah, that would be Parker not caring.

"Want to go find Jaye?"
