5th Floor Common Room [Evening]

After stowing Jeremiah's tank and Xander's knapsack in 227, Bridge and Xander head off in search of spaghetti. Why didn't they just use the Synthetron? Well, spaghetti's like toast. It's more fun to make it yourself.

As luck would have it, the only Common Room kitchen currently stocked with any spaghetti noodles is the one on the fifth floor. So here they are. Making dinner.

Willow instinctively hugged back. "Xander?? This hit you too?"

Xander looked up at her, wide-eyed. "Nobody hit me! I was with Bridge. He wouldn't let nobody hit me!"

"This is good, this is very good," Willow said. "Does Bridge also know that he shouldn't lend you his Barbies?"

Xander looked down. "She needed a haircut," he muttered.

"Uh-uh," Willow daid. She decided to let it go. "Have you eaten anything besides sugar today? Do you need a peanut butter and jelly sandwich?"

Xander pointed to the the stove. "Bridge is making skettis!"

Willow leaned in to whisper. "Does he know not to put the peppers in?"

Xander nodded seriously. "I told him."

"Okay, good," Willow said. "And are you drinking your chocolate milk?"

"I had some for lunch!" Xander frowned. "I tried to make the m'chine make choclit juice for breakfast but it made cranberry."

"Cranberry can be yummy too," Willow said. "It's like Kool-aid but with vitamins and no horrible cult connotations."

"....What's a connotations?"

"Something that reminds you of something else," Willow said. "Like how whenever we see Christmas ornaments we think of the Snoopy dance."

Xander grinned. And did the Snoopy Dance. It wasn't quite the same without music, but still.

Willow laughed and applauded. She'd missed this last Christmas.

Xander finished with a bow. The rhymes-with-wow kind, not the Christmas present kind.

"Nicely done," Willow said. "Thank you!"

"You're welcome!" Xander gave her another hug.

Willow hugged back. "Are you going to be okay tonight? Do you need somewhere to sleep?"

"He's staying with me tonight," Bridge informs Willow. "I didn't want him to be all by himself in the apartment."

"This is very wise," Willow said. She rummaged in her backpack and produced a peanut butter and jelly sandwich that was carefully wrapped up in a ziploc bag. "Here. In case he gets hungry during the night, only he has to brush his teeth before he goes back to sleep and there might need to be singing of the toothbrush song."

"Toothbrush song yay!"

"You can teach it to Bridge," Willow suggested. "I bet he'd love that!"

Xander frowned and looked down. "What if I don't know forget the words?"

And this would be Bridge, using his phone to snap pictures to save this moment forever and ever because it's possibly the cutest thing he's *ever* seen.
