5th Floor Common Room [Evening]

After stowing Jeremiah's tank and Xander's knapsack in 227, Bridge and Xander head off in search of spaghetti. Why didn't they just use the Synthetron? Well, spaghetti's like toast. It's more fun to make it yourself.

As luck would have it, the only Common Room kitchen currently stocked with any spaghetti noodles is the one on the fifth floor. So here they are. Making dinner.

"Oh, I'm so sorry," Evie sympathized, then said, "Well of course you may! Thank you, please, go right ahead!"

Aly pointed for Evie to sit on the floor so she could climb into a chair and have better access to her hair. "Thank you! D'you know my mommy, Evie?"

"Well, I don't know, what is you mommy's name, Aly?" Evie sat down on the floor and folded her hands in her lap, trying to sit still. ANd not keep glancing out of the corner of her eye at what Aly was doing.

Evie frowned, then blinked her eyes open wide. "Alanna Trebond? She's our Student Council President. Is that the same Alanna?" She winced. "Ow."

"Ooops! Sorry," Aly said, trying to pull out the snarl. "Yep, that's my mommy."

"I see. Goodness." Evie sat there trying to process that, then tentatively said, "Are you having fun here today? And, um. What are you doing to my hair now?"

"Sam let me pick her lock! And John gave me pony rides," Aly said. She tilted her head at the hair in question. "I think it's done. It's perfect."

"That was very nice of them," Evie said, then smiled, carefully turning and patting at her hair. Oh, dear. "Thank you, Aly. I can tell it's absolutely marvelous."

And she had a great deal of creme rinse she could use, somewhere....
