Fourth floor common room, Sunday morningish

Jude was exhausted. Weetinies were tiring.

But Jude was also hungry, and thus dragged himself down to the common room for the making of pancakes. Without sticks, in case there were more little children around.

. . . okay, maybe there were a couple with sticks.

Setsuna nodded. "I am, thank you. Apparantly, it's been blissfully child free? Jude was just telling me about an abundance of children throughout town..."

Mac huffed a laugh. "Yeah, I found a couple yesterday," she said. "Then gave 'em to Jude... he's not that pleased with me about that."

"He mentioned that, as well," Setsuna smirked a little. "Yeah, didn't sound so pleased..."

"I'm not a kid person," Mac said by way of defense. "It was way better for them to be with him, than with me."

"I don't imagine I would have done terribly well, either," Setsuna admitted.

"Ten minutes, and they were screaming and fighting over a tissue." Mac shook her head. "I haven't seen anything like it since Ryan was little. It was like a nightmare."

"...Over a tissue?"

"Over a tissue," Mac confirmed. "And, one of them swore at me."

"What? Swore at you?"

If a child had shown Setsuna that sort of disrespect, that child might not be living anymore. Then again, she was occationally prone to overreactions.

"I tried to take the tissue off him," Mac explained. "Didn't like that too much."

"Apparantly not," Setsuna mumbled. "Are all children weird about tissues like that? Or is this one just weird in general, do you suppose?"

"Those two, totally weird," Mac said with a shake of her head. "It took me until much later, to realise one of them was the one that hit on me in a really disgusting way at the first three minute date night."

A brief moment from her earlier conversation with Jude flooded back. "Kwik Stop guys?" she asked.

Mac shuddered automatically. "It hugged me."

Setsuna's own shudder soon followed. "I...can't say I entirely blame you for dumping them off on Jude, really..."

"He'll get over it," Mac said. "If I'd have had to keep them much longer, I might not've."

Setsuna grinned a little at that. "Well, here's to hoping that today is significantly more free of children."

"Fingers crossed." Mac smiled back at Setsuna. "It's been okay so far, at least."
