Fourth floor common room, Sunday morningish

Jude was exhausted. Weetinies were tiring.

But Jude was also hungry, and thus dragged himself down to the common room for the making of pancakes. Without sticks, in case there were more little children around.

. . . okay, maybe there were a couple with sticks.

"I'm noticing a distinct lack of sticks," said Setsuna as she came into the common room, stretching a little from a very wee-tiny free morning excersize. So far, her experiences had been as such....

Setsuna immediately looked down, lifting her foot as if to check underneath it for such rugrats. "Really? I've not noticed any..."

Setsuna shook her head, returning the funny look. "I haven't, no. But, then again, I have been a little busy..."

Setsuna blinked, several times. "Cracked their head open?...K..kwik Stop guys?" No, no blush there, what are you talking about?

When Mac saw Jude as she wandered into the common room, she had the sudden urge to turn and walk back the other way.

But here, there was coffee. Caffeination needs cannot be denied.

... and this was Jude, he couldn't be annoyed, right?

Setsuna had her own reasons for avoiding listening to radio, thank you. Like it causing bloodthirsty rage for certain red-clad mercs.

But she considered this, carefully, and then let out a small, thoughtful sound. "Huh. I suppose stranger things have happened..."

Setsuna sensed a sort of delemma in Mac as she entered, which arched an eyebrow, but she still waved. "Good morning, Mac."

"You got out alive," Mac pointed out. She does look a little guilty about it, though.

"Hey, Setsuna," Mac replied, collecting a coffee mug. "Having a good weekend?"

And Setsuna doubted she had much of a tolerance for children. Not that she really knew, having never really been around them before. Well, there was Negi-sensei, but he was different. Kind of.

Setsuna was slowly starting to recall some of Negi-sensei's sudden crying fits. And her eyes were a little wide before she nodded with resolve. "I think that would probably be sound advice, yes...."

Setsuna nodded. "I am, thank you. Apparantly, it's been blissfully child free? Jude was just telling me about an abundance of children throughout town..."

Setsuna shrugged. "It was fine. Full of list handwavey activities that had occupied her here. Average Saturday, really...I'm sorry that you had such a bad day..."

Mac managed a contrite smile. "I can live with that," she said. "Better that they were with you than with me. I probably would've accidently left them somewhere or something."

There was a pause, and then a small smile. "The date went well, then, I assume?"
