Third floor common room, Sunday evening

Janet has made her way allllll the way to the dorms, and alllll the way up the stairs after talking to Pam. It's very tiring on her wee little legs, and she crawls up onto the couch with her eight pounds of clothes and towel cape, and decides she's bored.

She spots the remote and her eyes light up, and she reaches to grab it. The problem is, she doesn't know how to work the remote, so she's yelling "WORK!" at it and pouting when that doesn't turn the TV on.

She might need help. Or advice that TV ruins the brain.

Parker blinked, then stared. Then facepalmed as she cracked up. "Oh, that's ... perfect." She chortled. "Hey. Can I take your photo? I have a friend who is a big, big fan."

Ares started posing. "You do?"

*flash!* *flash!* "Yup. And she's going to love these photos of you, I think." At least, Parker hoped that they got a smile out of Cal. "She doesn't live here any more, but I'll tell her all about this."

"That doesn't matter!" Ares said. "I can still go visit her!"

"Can you?" Parker asked, sounding totally impressed. Which she was, as well as a little horrified. "With a portal?"

"Sometimes," Ares nodded. "But not for all places."

"Hunh." And something else to talk to Cal about, since the adult version had been such a bastard to her. "I did not know that. Cool. I'll check with her, and if she has her house cleaned up? I'll tell her you want to visit, okay?"

"Her house doesn't need to be clean," Ares said. "I don't mind dirty."

Parker grinned at him, amused in spite of herself. "I'll let her know. But, you know. A god comes visiting, you want to make the place look nice. What have you been doing today?"

"Tell me, and I can go visit her right now!" Ares suggested excitedly. "I can be a suprise! I like being a surprise."

"She's asleep right now," Parker said firmly. "Tomorrow is soon enough." And if he wasn't back to the right age by then... aaaack. "She'll have her knives and armor out to show you by then."

"Knives and armour?" Ares asked, thumb firmly planted in mouth. "Like Xena or Callisto?"

So, so, so weird. "A lot like them, yes." She raised her eyebrows. "What's Xena like?" Aside from killing Cal's family and her entire village.

"She's smart and pretty and the best warrior ever!"

"Ahhhh. That's why you like her, of course." Parker wanted to ask, didn't want to ask. Wanted to, didn't.

Had to ask. "And Callisto?"

"She's disrectful and dangerous, least before the Angel broke her," Ares said. "And she has weird dreams."

The first part made her a little sick and angry, but the second was just confusing. "She has bad dreams?"

"She doesn't like them," Ares shrugged. "Don't know why, wrestling's fun."

Parker blinked at him. "She has weird dreams about..." Oh. Oh, Cal. Let me be wrong about this. "I see. And you know about them because you're a god?"

"Interesting." Parker kept her voice mild. "I'll let my friend know about you. And then we'll talk. Tomorrow."
