Mondays were always Neil's hell day in the week. Two classes and he had thought he had a club meeting tonight but would have to check the flyer to see if it had been moved to another evening.

At least he had a whole new slew of homework to work on!

Grabbing a refreshing shower, Neil changed into more relaxed -for him anyway- clothes and then grabbed up his Fairy Tale homework and project work and headed for the common room. Ignoring the TV he flipped on the radio, picking something a little more contemporary and pleased with the beat of the music, danced stepped his way over to the counter.

There he began to pull together the fixings for soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. Grilled cheese with bacon and tomato, one of his favorites and good study food.

"Since the fall a year ago," Stark said, going to get himself a bowl. "So over a year now. A long time. Do you like it here, so far?"

Carefully flipping the sandwich so that the bread didn't burn, Neil gave a small shrug.

"It's a good school, wide and varied curriculum, good professors."

"It's a good place to be," Stark said. "Strange though. And maybe hard to get used to. But a good place."

Setting the cooked sandwich onto a plate, Neil spooned up some of the soup to share with Stark and turned to hold both out towards him.

"Here you go, Stark." He smiled. "Hopefully, when I've been here a bit longer...well, I hope I feel about it the way you obviously do."

"Thank you." Returning the smile, Stark took the food and found a seat. "Where were you, before you were here?"

"A place called Welton Academy...err it's up north in Vermont and when I was there it was 1959, not 2007, so getting used to the time change has been a bit of a challenge." Neil admitted as he fixed up his own plate.

"The time thing is very strange. And I'm not sure where Vermont is," Stark admitted. "Of course, I'm not sure where much of anything is on this planet. Haven't left the island yet, since I've been here."
