Roof, Sunday evening - Memorial Service

While the weather had been snowy all day, the area near Bel's garden was free of snow tonight. The space around the roof held a touch of warmth and there was no wind to blow out the candles that flickered in the dusk.

A table by the door held candles for people to hold and a picture of Bel. Blair had found a fairly decent photo from the time in the cabins and while Bel wasn't exactly smiling into the camera, he wasn't glaring either.

Smiling sadly, Wilson walked over to Nadia.

"Evening, Nadia. How are you doing?"

"I'm okay. I think I got the whole sleep thing fixed. Are you guys okay?"

"Really? Nadia that's excellent news." Wilson said with a smile.

Then he sobered and looked around.

"Well, as good as can be expected. It's hard to believe we need to say good bye."

Nadia nodded, also looking around. "I know. I only found out today that he was even gone. I . . . don't think it's sunk in, yet. I keep expecting to hear him say something, or show up with a cigarette, or something."

Thinking of those last horrible moments, watching the Vanquish spell taking affect, Wilson knew better than to even imagine but he didn't feel it fair to force those images on Nadia so instead he held out an arm in an unspoken invitation.

Nadia was slightly surprised, but tried not to show it. Instead, she moved to give Dr. Wilson a quick hug.
