Roof, Sunday evening - Memorial Service

While the weather had been snowy all day, the area near Bel's garden was free of snow tonight. The space around the roof held a touch of warmth and there was no wind to blow out the candles that flickered in the dusk.

A table by the door held candles for people to hold and a picture of Bel. Blair had found a fairly decent photo from the time in the cabins and while Bel wasn't exactly smiling into the camera, he wasn't glaring either.

[ooc: Invitations were handwaved so anyone's welcome. If you're not normally allowed in the dorms (teacher, townie, alumni) please keep your interaction limited to this post. Also, wait for OCD OCD Up! ]

"Hey, Mars," Anders said quietly. For once, there wasn't any animosity in his face or voice as he greeted her.

"Anders," Veronica nodded. She had noticed him sitting near Phoebe during the service, but didn't feel it was the time or place to ask questions.

"Sorry it has to be under these circumstances," Anders added. And now that he thought about it, it really, really did suck that this is what it took for him and Veronica to be civil to each other for once in their lives.

"I know. I'm not you guys, but I'll do my best to look after her for you," Anders promised. "And Chris and Wyatt will, and Lana, and Mister Phale and Doc Wilson, and . . . yeah. You know we take care of our own."
