The lobby, Friday afternoon
Rubbing his eyes but pretty much recovered from his transit-induced nap, Jude rolled into the lobby with his backpack slung over his back and glittering suspiciously. Toronto had been fun and his friends had been great - they had even hit the Bloor Cinema for that campy flick with Tim Curry in the fishnets last Friday - but there was just something about Fandom that made it good to be home.

So Friday afternoon she kept hopping down into the lobby, just in case he happened to be there already. And his room, in case she missed him in the lobby.
She managed to have great timing, for once. And Jude was about to get tackleglomped.

She disentangled herself and stood up, dusting herself off and offering him a hand. "So, uh, hi! You're back! I mean, well. You know."

She looked up quizzically. "You're all glittery." And giggled. "Oh! You got my note?"

"You kept it? All week?" She melted.

"Uh huh. All week," he said with a smile. "And I'm glad everything's good now. I was worried 'til I got your note. And you had fun."

Talking was kinda silly, she realized. Her voice trailed off a bit and she leaned up on her tiptoes, eyes closed.

"We should probably, you know. Go somewhere else." Could you get detention for kissing in a lobby? Wouldn't want to find out the hard way.
