The lobby, Friday afternoon

Rubbing his eyes but pretty much recovered from his transit-induced nap, Jude rolled into the lobby with his backpack slung over his back and glittering suspiciously. Toronto had been fun and his friends had been great - they had even hit the Bloor Cinema for that campy flick with Tim Curry in the fishnets last Friday - but there was just something about Fandom that made it good to be home.

Okay, there was a bunch of specific things about Fandom that made it good to be home.

She bounced a little. "You did! I was worried you wouldn't see it but it was late so I couldn't wake you. But everything was really okay and we fought off some samurai fishthings and that was kind of fun. And now everybody's back safe and sound!" She lifted it over both of them and shook it a bit to release a rain of glitter, and bounced again.

"You kept it? All week?" She melted.

Jude wrinkled up his nose against as glitter drifted down, sticking to his toque.

"Uh huh. All week," he said with a smile. "And I'm glad everything's good now. I was worried 'til I got your note. And you had fun."

"I did! It was great! And so was cheerleading, whoa, we were in this huge city and it was really warm out and we won and ... " His nose was cute when it wrinkled. Especially with glitter on it. "You know."

Talking was kinda silly, she realized. Her voice trailed off a bit and she leaned up on her tiptoes, eyes closed.

Jude honestly had no idea that he was dating a cheerleader. And would have commented on this fact along with congratulations on winning, but, you know. Other things to do.

Like kissing his girlfriend.

Rikku snuggled back against him. "How are your friends? And where is Toronto? Is it near Sandiego? And did you have fun? And ..."

There were a hundred other things to ask. First, more kissing.

Jude really honestly had his mouth open to reply. But yet again, more kissing. He filed them away so he could answer them later. Much later. Because kissing.

After more of the kissing, Rikku took a breath and smiled at him. "So, uh, heya." And blushed. And looked around.

"We should probably, you know. Go somewhere else." Could you get detention for kissing in a lobby? Wouldn't want to find out the hard way.

Jude chuckled and brushed a thumb over her red cheek. "Hi. My room so I can drop my stuff?"

"Oh! Yeah, your stuff! I totally forgot." She bowed and giggled. "Lead the way!"

With an outrageous bow, Jude offered her his arm to lead the way.
