This was not the sort of chaos that Steerpike had been expecting the rain to bring.

She was currently sulking in the common room, since curiosity to see what havok this odd change would wreak had over come any desire for solitude.

At least, she thought, she had turned into a pretty girl.

"And not doing a terribly good job of it, I might add. Anyone who knows her can tell it is her."

"There's a girl pretending to me?" Blair blinked again. "Why? Are they a spy?"

She leaned forward to whisper. "Is it Nadia?"

"Er, no, it's not Nadia. And as far as I know she isn't a spy. I have no idea why, as she refused to admit that she was her and not you."

"Was she doing anything bad?" Blair asked quietly. "Like trying to hurt my reputation by kicking puppies or voting republican?"

"She was wearing a save the whales tshirt and partnered up with me for the make-out assignment."

"You made out with a fake-me?" Blair gasped.

"I was well aware that she was not you when I did so."

"Good." Blair nodded. "Was I...I mean..not-me good at making out?"

"Oh, yes, quite." one assumes, since we haven't played that part out yet "You have nothing to worry about."

"That's good at least." Blair said with a sigh. "I'd hate for my reputation for a good kisser to be ruined."

It was probably obvious by the way she spoke that there was probably no such thing.

"Oh, of course. Your reputation is safe with me."

"Good." Blair nodded. "Thanks for telling me about the impostor. I'm not really sure what the point of that would be, but it's good to know."

"I had a feeling it might, in fact, be some sort of mental disorder, but I could be wrong."

"So there's a type of mental disorder that makes you think you're me?" Blair asked, giggling. "Somebody has the Blaircrazies?"

"I only hope that it's not contagious. I'm rather happy with knowing I am Steerpike."

"Eh, you couldn't pick a nicer guy to be insane and think you were." Blair grinned. "I'm pretty awesome."

"Well, there is the interest in people, at least that would not change."
