Third Floor Common Room - Sunday Brunch Time

It was Sunday. It was Sunday somewhere between breakfast and lunch. It was a Sunday suffering from the loss of an hour's sleep but it was also a Sunday where the rain seemed to be slowing down.

For all these reasons and just because, Neil decided it was a good time to make a Sunday brunch-ish type meal.

This mostly meant he added pancakes to his usual weekend fare of bacon, maple oatmeal, toast and on a whim he decided to also add in some eggs. Scrambled eggs were fairly straight forward so long as you didn't break the shell into the mixture.

Tori smiled and nodded. "Yeah, I guess it does." At least the rain seemed to be letting up. "Hopefully, this will clear up soon and we can head back outside again."

"I'm thinking to ride my inner tube around a bit maybe later. Hey, you know I talked to a mermaid yesterday? A real live one with blue hair. And I watched dolphins play in the water. Dipper and Kipper. It was amazing."

"Oh wow. That sounds great!" Tori laughed. "You did? That's really cool!"

Annette nodded, giggling. "She told me to come back today, that I could watch a show from the dolphins. But I am supposed to find a groundhog and give to this lord something or other and he might think about giving me a tail." She giggled. "Can you imagine?"

"Whoa. That's quite the experience." Tori laughed. "Having a tail would be something, huh?"

"Yeah, but totally not me." Annette winked at Tori. "I mean, think about cheerleading!" She teased.

"Definitely not." Tori grinned. "Oh yes. Cheerleading!" She chuckled.
