Third Floor Common Room - Sunday Brunch Time

It was Sunday. It was Sunday somewhere between breakfast and lunch. It was a Sunday suffering from the loss of an hour's sleep but it was also a Sunday where the rain seemed to be slowing down.

For all these reasons and just because, Neil decided it was a good time to make a Sunday brunch-ish type meal.

This mostly meant he added pancakes to his usual weekend fare of bacon, maple oatmeal, toast and on a whim he decided to also add in some eggs. Scrambled eggs were fairly straight forward so long as you didn't break the shell into the mixture.

[ooc: Open with food even!]

Nadia nodded back. "Okay. Well, first I need to figure out what level you're at, now. How many languages you speak?"

Annette didn't hesitate, "Four."

"Nice. Which ones?"

"Spanish, Italian, French, and my German is so so."

Nadia switched immediately into Spanish. "//Really? That's great! German's pretty tough, but it can be really useful. You should look into getting some of the Asiatic langauges under your belt too, though.//"

In which Annette answered her back in Spanish. "//German is tough, which is why I have not mastered it yet. I'd really prefer not to use it, though you never know when it might come in handy, just like you said - it can be useful. Asiatic. Are you referring to Arabic, Nadia?//"

"//Arabic, Japanese, Hindu . . . the Chinese dialects. You want to hit the languages spoken by the world leaders. Those are the ones you're most likely to use in the field.//" Nadia thought for a moment. "//Okay, tell you what. Tomorrow after classes and clubs and stuff, let's meet up somewhere and we can go over some of the basics and figure out a good first mission for you.//"

"//Those sound difficult, Nadia. But if I must learn them, I will.//" And Annette would. That was one thing that would never change about her. When she was determined, she would see it through until what she wished to achieve was accomplished.

"//That sounds excellent. Tell me where and I will be there, Nadia.//" Her first mission! Yay!
