Around the dorms, Tuesday Afternoon
As Santa brushed crumbs from his fingers, he realized with growing panic that he had less than twelve hours to deliver presents. He walked quickly* towards the dorms and down to the basement, where he packed up his bag and slung it over his shoulder, ready to deliver gifts to the good boys and girls of Fandom.
*Santa never ran. It was undignified.
[ooc: Tannim thinks he's Santa. He's not wearing a costume, just walking around with a bag of "toys" and trying to get into all the rooms. If you want him to get into your room, please tag into the post with your room number and whether it's occupied when Santa arrives. You're also welcome to run into him in the hallways.
[ETA: It's afternoon when he's running around the dorms, but his delusional mind thinks it's later at night.]

Room 405
On Billy's bed, he left a fuzzy green sock filled with pages 43-67 of an old algebra book. On the other bed, he left a worn, formerly white sock with a box of dried old makeup (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kohl_(cosmetics)) stuffed inside it.

Room 408
Room 408 now had a dusty, worn sock stuffed with a faded book on the New York World Fair, 1964/1965 on one bed (http://www.nywf64.com/). Another dusty, worn, yet entirely unmatching sock sat on the other bed, containing an algebra book from 1936. If anyone opened it up, they would realize that pages 43-67 had been torn out.

He was steadfastly maintaining that it was totally not out of the ordinary for the Red Ranger to have a crisis of confidence and try to quit, and trying very hard not to betray too much of his personal indignation over the fact that he still thought O'Reilly had stolen his schtick.

as mun is about to go sleep, so the only thing that might notice a sneaky santa is the goldfish.Re: Room #411
When Mac returns to her room, she will find a faded raincoat (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mackintosh) gift-wrapped in the yellowed newsprint of the April 14, 1987 New York Times.
Room 502/4/6
Furrball was perched on her head.

Re: 509
He left a film can (http://www.archive.org/details/DuckandC1951) in a large brown sock on Willow's bed. He left another film can (http://www.archive.org/details/isforAto1953) on Marie's bed. This one was stuffed into a grungy argyle sock. The film can strained the sock's limits and looked about to rip open.

On Turtle's bed he set a yellow sock that was stuffed with Monopoly money. There were also a few "Community Chest" cards and loose game pieces from Monopoly, Clue, Sorry and Candyland mixed in.
