First Floor Lobby, Saturday Early Afternoon

Conner was slouched in a chair in the lobby with T-Rex the laptop, idly web browsing and trying not to think too much about his embarrassing behavior with Gwynn a few days ago, when he got a handwavey email telling him to meet up with a few other people . . . hey, in the lobby. That was convenient. He kind of really didn't want Gwynn to get dragged back to ancient England and hanged, because that would suck.

He was still a little worried about the whole "human opponent" issue, though. He was totally fine beating up on a conglomeration of a shark, a flower, and car parts, but this was a little out of his comfort zone.

Willow showed up, carrying a backpack that seemed heavy with books and her laptop and spell components because, well, yes.

"Hey Conner!"

"Willow, hey!" Conner looked up from T-Rex and grinned at her. "What's goin' down here?"

"Help for Gwynn," Willow replied. She hefted her backpack to show him. "It's like putting up the Scooby signal, only we're not limited to folks from Sunnydale and also we never actually had one of those. Though it would've been cool."

"So we have a way to keep her from getting dragged back home and executed?" Conner asked hopefully. "And it's in your backpack?"

Gwynn waved. "Hullo, Willow," she said with a happy smile.

Willow waved back. "Hi Gwynn! I brought the stuff we talked about."

Marie wasn't far behind Willow.

"Hey Conner," she said. "I'm glad to know you're on board for helping Gwynn."

"Hey, Marie," Conner replied. "How could I not? She's way too cute to have to get hanged just for some crazy guy's ego."

"Oh really?" Marie said, amused by Conner's statement. As far as she knew, Gwynn was single...

Summer showed up because she told Gwynn she'd help somehow. "Hey Conner."

"Summer!" Conner looked around for Pancakes and totally didn't look disappointed. "Did you bring a fork?"

Summer rolled her eyes. "I don't actually carry a fork around with me."

At least she wasn't going to admit that out loud.

Bridge was on his way out of the dorms for a JGOB run when he saw people gathered in the lobby.

"Dudes," he says, by way of greeting.

"Uh, likewise!" Bridge says. "What's up?"

Cassie showed up, dressed for action.

"So... I don't actually get to squash people, do I?"

"Um," Conner said, wondering why everybody else got to keep their spandex. "Possibly?"

Gwynn finally showed up and looked around. "This is awesome." Yeah, still that was her favourite.

"You like that word, don't you?" Conner asked, amused. "So, like, what's the whole plan?"

Gwynn looked at him. "Jaime taught it to me. I like this place. He teaches me new words and handsome guys like you think I'm pretty with my clothes still on."

Jamie happened to be wandering by and saw that there was congregating of sorts.

"Hey guys. What's the lowdown birds eye view on this caper? Or at least I assume it's a caper. There's too many people for ruse. Or even hijinx."

"Madrox! You might wanna check in with Willow over there," Conner told him. "She's the one with the surprise plan in her backpack."

Jamie looked over at Will and gave her a grin. "Does it involve office supplies?"

Tori had spoken to Gwynn about what had happened and just happened to be in the lobby after her run, when she noted the people gathered together.
