Fourth floor common room, Sunday morning

Trying to fully get back into the swing of things and stop hanging out in his room all the time, Dean was in the common room kitchen cooking up breakfast. He figured even on April Fool's Day free food would draw people out.

Not that he was pranking anyone just yet -- although the thought had crossed his mind. He'd planned his observance of the day for later. It was more sporting that way.

Sam facepalmed and sighed. "Well, there are. So, you need to go put some clothes on before people start making fun of you."

"No one's made fun of me so far," Alec said, cocking an eyebrow. "Actually, everyone's been pretty appreciative so far."

"No one's...? I swear, I will never understand the people at this school," Sam said, sighing again.

"Dude." Alec eyed Sam. "Come on -- your brother and I aren't exactly ugly. Seriously, if you stop being a little brother and just look?"

"I am not going to look at you!" Sam said, putting his hand out as though to block Alec from his line of vision. "I've seen Dean naked, so I know what you must look like."

"Dude, you suck at objectivity," Alec said, amused.

"Oh really?" Sam asked, definitely not amused. "I don't see much to be objective about here."

Alec shrugged, keeping hold of his amusement for Dean's sake. "I'm just naked. I'm not exactly sitting in your lap, dude. Dean's not freaked out, so why are you?"

"Dean's not freaked out because he's sexually attracted to you, which, I have to admit, is probably the case with like 90% of the school," Sam said. "I, on the other hand, am definitely not, and therefore, it's my right to freak out. I'd be freaking out if anyone else was walking around naked too."

Alec gave Sam a look that was mostly annoyance with a bit of dirisive disbelief. "Are you always this tightly wound? I'm not hurting anything," he said, managing not to snark as much as he wanted to.

"I'm not tightly wound," Sam said defensively. "I'm just obviously not as blindly open-minded as everyone else."
