Buffy got to the campgrounds early, hauling two huge bags with her. She put them down by the stones of the central camp fire. She looked at it. Firewood. She needed lots of it. She headed off to gather fallen branches and similar.

Slowly everything got set up. There were camping tables with plates, cups and sticks for grilling things with. There were tables with hot dogs, peeps and other grillable things, and a separate table for drinks (so far non-alcoholic).

She set her cd-player on a flat rock, and while it looked tiny and insignificant outdoors, it would at least have music. Hopefully the random showers would stop by night fall, she thought and covered everything with plastic.

Then she walked back to the school and grabbed every umbrella and blanket she could get her hands on, and walked back, dumping everything by one of the tables. With her hands on her hips she regarded everything in satisfaction. Yes. Totally Not Prom was on!

"They aren't so bad, as long as you take notes and pay attention. I can help you study!" Again, dork.

Rikku bounced excitedly. "You can? Really? That would be great! I'm learning so much here, the classes, and all the books from the library, I just hope I can remember it all!" Similarly? Dork.

"I will make sure of it!" Hermione promises, and ha, Ron and Harry. "It helps if you actually like to learn it."

"Really!? You don't mind? Thank you!!" Rikku laughed, bouncing again. "I love learning this stuff! I mean, that's why we're here, isn't it!?"

She stopped for a second to consider. "Oh. Except that class with Ares. Do I really have to study for that one? 'Cause I didn't even sign up for it and I don't like him a whole lot."

Hermione blinks. "You didn't sign up for it? You might need to see if he's planning on giving you a grade..."

Rikku waved vaguely. "No, I mean, there was a glitch king of thing? I signed up for something else, or maybe I screwed up the form and only thought I did? Probably that one. But it said I was supposed to have that class so I was all, Oh, okay, I should at least see what it is, and then I did." She made a face at that.

"If you're enrolled, you probably still need to take the exam, even if you didn't mean to be there," Hermione points out.

Rikku nodded. "Oh, yeah, I mean, I will. I just don't want to waste time studying for it, since it's a stupid class and I'd rather be learning, you know. Useful things."

"You mean the spaghetti monster wasn't enlightening?" she asks, deadpan.

Rikku giggled. "I think I learned way more the week he told us all to make out."
