Campgrounds, Sunday morning

Buffy had woken early, and decided to go down to the camp grounds to clean up from yesterday. She beamed at the thought. It had been successful! People had talked and melted peeps and danced and everything! Buffy looked down at the melted peep stains on the grilling fork and hoped it didn't petrify. She stuffed it into her bag and moved on, cleaning as she went.

Alec yawned as he came on up, looking around the camp grounds. "Morning..."

Jake hadn't had much luck so far in finding any family -- Grandpa John and Grandma Zoe's house wasn't -- so now he was just wandering looking for a familiar face.

When he headed out to the campgrounds he found one.

"Hey," he said happily, running up to Alec. "You and Dad got sucked through the portal too?"

"Me and who now?" Alec said, looking at the kid oddly.

"You and Dad," Jake said, his grin turning into a frown. "What, you hit your head or something?"

Alec frowned at the kid, thinking he looked way too familiar somehow. "Not lately," he said. "Who's your dad and why would I get sucked through a portal with him?"

Jake gave him a 'you're kidding, right?' look. "Dean Winchester. And probably because I got sucked through and you were coming after me." He paused. "Memory spell?"

"No?" But that'd explain why he looked familiar -- Dean's kid would probably look like he and Dean did as kids, so the fact that this kid, Dean's son, looked like Alec when he was young, wasn't so weird. "I mean, I'm pretty sure it's not. And aren't you a bit old to be Dean's kid?"

"Hi Alec!" Buffy straightened and grinned. "Are you here to help clean or just to be randomly bossed around?"

Jake smiled at the pretty blonde. "Hi, I'm Jake Winchester," he said sticking out his hand to her.

Buffy blinked at the kid. "...Are you a little Mister Winchester?" she asked suspiciously. "Like, are you my mentor when you're big?"

"Do you want me to be?" Jake asked coyly.

Buffy stared at the kid, then shuddered violently. "Not if you're going to hit on me. Eww. Creeeepy."

"I'm not creepy," Jake insisted, looking wounded.

"Both?" He grinned back, a little relieved to have a distraction. "I mean, I can clean whatever you point me at, unless you've got something else for me to do."

Buffy looked around. "Could you get all the blankets, maybe? I think I need to wash them before I put them back."

"Will do," Alec said, saluting. "I'll make a pile." He glanced in little Jake's direction briefly, then back at Buffy. "...And I think something weird's going on. Just, you know, as a warning."

Buffy looked towards Jake too. "...I believe you."

Which is totally a cue for a little blonde whirlwind to come running up, looking ecstatic when she sees who they are - from quite a ways away. "Mom! Dad!"

Ana and her brother had made it out of the park, and headed for the big dark forest. Neither of them were scared of such things, and it looked like a good hiding place.

Except now, oh, look, a campground and people. She stopped just inside the ring of cabins, Tommy breathing heavily, maybe pouring on a bit of melodrama.

"Too...much running." he gasped. "Legs too...short."

Buffy waved at the kids, wondering if they were wee teachers.

Tentatively, Ana waved back. Tommy tried to hide behind his sister.

"Hi! Are you guys lost?" Buffy asked, in case they were children of teachers instead.

"Uhm..." how to answer that? "Sort of." Ana admitted. They didn't know who they were hiding from really so it could be this girl.

"Are you a clone?" Tommy blurted out, poking his head out from behind her.

"Tommy!"

Buffy blinked. "...No?"

Ana facepalmed, as Tommy oopsed.

"I'm sorry." Ana apologized. "Uhm, hi." They're hiding plan seemed to be really off kilter here. At least there were plenty of places to run.

"I'm Anastasia and this is Tommy."
