Cameron was quietly boggling at the little girl sitting beside him on the couch. At least he'd managed to take off his tuxedo from yesterday and after some major bargaining he had gotten Marybeth to agree to eat lunch on the condition that she got ice cream as dessert.

He had a lot to learn about parenting.

Cameron chuckled. "I think you're probably right. Beth's named after my grandmother which is kind of weird, but nice too I suppose. I'm not sure where Lilian comes from."

"It sounds familiar, but I'm not sure why," Angela said thoughtfully. "Maybe it's from Veronica's family."

She grinned. "Marybeth is so Southern-sounding."

"I'll have to ask her, but she's conveniently not answering my hone call," Cameron said. He wasn't worried really. Nope, not at all. Okay, maybe a little bit but everyone else had kids too and so Veronica not answering her phone was probably not related.

"And yeah, that's where most of my family is from. I'm wondering if there was a family crisis or something and they were threatening to disown me to name her after my grandmother, though," he joked.

Angela raised her eyebrows. "Ugh, that's annoying," she said. "The single parent thing would suck."

She grinned. "You aren't close to your grandma? Marcie has to be after Marty's friend -- I wouldn't pick it, but I guess I got to name Graham. Or else big-Marcella cooked for us until we agreed to use the name."

Cameron laughed. "Or maybe you met your kids when you were a teenager and it seemed strange to give them different names," he suggested. "My grandmother isn't bad. She's a bit fanatically religious, but I just never thought I'd end up naming my kid after her."
