5th Floor Common Room - Wednesday Evening

Only more than slightly gleeful that he only had one final left - and that he'd survived (barely) Engineering, Peter set up the Coffe - And Tea - Cart in the 5th Floor Common Room.

He put up a sign saying "Good Luck on Your Finals" and sat at a table studying.  Except it looked less like studying and more like playing with Play-Doh he'd found tucked away in the cupboard.

Annette walked in wearing a bright pink scarf tied in a floppy bow around her head. She really wasn't expecting anyone to be about; it's why she was in her jammies and floppy bunny slippers.

She just wanted a cup of tea to add to her rum. That was all.

"Oh. Hi, Peter." Annette blinked, looked at the cart with the tea and coffee, and smiled. "Tea? Can I have a cup of tea?"

Peter looked up at Annette with a grin. "Evening Annette. Certainly there is tea. Proper tea even."

"Proper tea is good." She was sure it was. Tea from England she was assuming?

Moving to pour herself a cup, she couldn't help but notice the Play-Doh. "You know, I used to make a really good snake when I was a little girl."

"There's plenty," Peter offered. "All colours and glitter and funny stamps if you like."

Smiling, she sat down and picked a can of green glitter, great for making snakes.

"How's finals going?"

Free food! ... well, free drinks, at least. Shawn has, like, free things radar installed in him somewhere. Especially when he's avoiding studying for finals.

"You're just giving this stuff away?" he asked Peter curiously when he wandered in.

Peter laughed. "D'you hide in your room around finals? Student Council always has a coffee cart."

"I should make climbing several flights of stairs a habit if there's coffee to be had," Shawn said with a grin.

"I wouldn't have been up here now, except, y'know, there's work down there. I want to put as much distance between me and it as possible."

"I know how that goes. How many finals do you have left to revise for?"

"Two," Shawn said helping himself to a mug of coffee. "I've got Guitar tomorrow, and Villains and Villany on Friday. Then it's all over. Could be worse, I guess."

"How 'bout you?" he asked Peter, adding a bit of milk to his mug.

Willow's classes were over, but that by no means meant she stopped studying. It just meant she moved on to new topics.

She came into the common room with books in hand. "Hey."

Peter eyed the books worriedly. "Wasn't your last exam today?"

"Sadly yes," Willow said. She clutched her books to her chest. "I'm adrift in a sea of non-gradedness. It's awful!"

"Any way I can help?" Peter offered.

"If you could find the guy who doesn't mind sharing his future with me and ask him to give me some smoochies?" Willow suggested. She wasn't quite over the giddiness of all that yet.

Evie waved to Willow as she made her way back to her corner o' notes. "Hello, Willow. How are your Finals going?"

Willow waved back. "Hey, Evie. Not to summon jinxes or anything but I think they went well. Or so I'm hoping. You?"

"Well, the first one went fine, on Monday." Evie scowled and clutched her tea more tightly. "But then someone destroyed half my notes! And I have two Finals tomorrow!"

Annette waved over at Willow, "Hey there."

Willow waved back. "Hey Annette. How's finals going?"

"I missed my first one, Tuesday's went great, and this morning's was excellent. Only one more to go. How about you?"

Evie came in with her books, her re-constructed notes, and her copies of Hermione's notes, and very determinedly set herself a place in the corner with highlighters and notecards before going to get herself some coffee. "Good evening, Peter. Might I please have a very strong cup of coffee, and one of tea?"

"Of course you may," Peter replied. He stood to pour Evie her beverages. "How do you do, Evie?"

"Dreadfully nervous," she confessed. "I have two Finals tomorrow. And I'm working from Hermione's notes, mine were half-ruined. I wish it were Friday already!"

"Half-ruined?" Peter asked, looking concerned. "However did that happen? Good one on Hermione's part. I'm sure her notes are brilliant."
