Alec and Dean had decided that there was no better idea than getting a lot of ice cream, a lot of random toppings, and then making sundaes. They even waited until after lunch (cereal) and made sure to have healthy things too (fruit syrup! jam! graham cracker bits!).

There was, of course, a lot of everything, just in case people wanted to come by and have some of their own. Alec was suicidal nice like that.

And was headed for a leg-tackle-hug, unless he ducked it.

Alec was a wee bit busy with all the ice cream, so a leg-tackle-hug was not avoided. "I am, but you don't get any if you're attached to me!"

"You're welcome," Alec said, then paused. "Uh, Oui'na famlusa?"

This was such a shock that she almost dropped the Judekitty.

She spoke in a hyperactive ramble, bouncing excitedly and clapping her hands and almost dancing. "Oui ... oui cbayg Al Bhed?! E ghaf cusauha rana ryt du! Yna oui vnus Rusa?! Oui tuh'd muug Al Bhed! Tu oui ghuf Bubc? Udran baubma lymm res Cid!"

Alec snickered, then said slowly. "E cbayg y meddma Al Bhed. Just from your newspaper articles."

Rikku clapped her hands again. "You readses them?! I din't think nobody reads them! Ruf lusa oui'na maynhehk Al Bhed? 'Cause it's just me that speaks it, huputo amca rana ghufc yho. 'N I tried to teach peoples, too."

She didn't even register that she was switching back and forth between the two.

Alec only got about half what she said in Al Bhed, but it was enough to answer, at least. "I'm pretty good with languages," he said. "And it's kind of cool, so I just read them and remembered. Though now I can tell my accent sucks balls."

"I like languageses. I c'n speak two but tha's better than none right?" She clapped a hand over her mouth. "You swored!"

"Two's good," he said, nodding. "And 'balls' is not a swear! 'Damn' and 'shit' are, though."

"I don't know more. You should teaches me." She nodded back. "Yht E'mm daylr oui Al Bhed!"

And then gasped louder. "You can't say those wordses! They're baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad."
