With his first two workshops moderately successful (the dog kicking question was a trick!) and the books still acting like chickens inside the cabin, Gavin's escaped to outside the cabin.

He's leaning against a log and counting stars. It's better than counting sand.

Sokka waved. "Sokka. Hi." He smiled. "You new here?"

"Since Friday," Edward said. "Is it that obvious?"

"It's obvious that you don't look familiar," Sokka answered with a smirk. "But I've only been here a few months and haven't met half the people, so it was more a lucky guess. How are you liking things so far?"

"The books think they're chickens," Ed said. Because that really wrapped up everything for him.

"They DO?" Yes, he had missed that.

"It's probably just a Fandom thing. They'll be better by tomorrow."

Ed stared at Sokka for a second then started laughing. "I almost want to do that just to see what happens."

Sokka started chuckling, too. "I guarantee the books'll've gone back to normal by the time you're done..."
