With his first two workshops moderately successful (the dog kicking question was a trick!) and the books still acting like chickens inside the cabin, Gavin's escaped to outside the cabin.

He's leaning against a log and counting stars. It's better than counting sand.

"I believe you," Edward said. "But still!" He grinned. "Have any classes today?"

"Interdisciplinary Studies then," he answered. "Then that Fighter's workshop on Thursday."

"...I didn't even notice there was a fighters' workshop," Ed said. "You'll have to tell me how it goes?"

"You didn't?" Alphonse shook his head. "You've got to pay more attention sometimes, Brother."

"Yeah, but you're going to tell me about it and we have to spar anyway," Ed said.

Alphonse smirked. "Alright. If you really want to..."

"Oh, think it'll be that easy?" he asked.

Alphonse rolled his eyes with a grin. "I think we both already know what the turnout will be."

"You're cocky, Al," Ed said, stretching. "Probably haven't stayed in shape or anything."

Alphonse frowned. "Yes I have!"

Which, really, was a total lie, as he didn't as much as he knew he should have.

"Suuuuure, you have," Edward told him lazily. "I totally believe you."

"Hmmph," Ed waved his arm. "Go ahead then."

"The next time we spar, I will," Alphonse said firmly.
