With his first two workshops moderately successful (the dog kicking question was a trick!) and the books still acting like chickens inside the cabin, Gavin's escaped to outside the cabin.

He's leaning against a log and counting stars. It's better than counting sand.

"That's good," Alphonse said, nodding. "And now you're back, which makes it better."

That was totally the campfire making her cheeks feel all warm at a comment like that; it had to be. Setsuna sharply warned herself about the mistake of reading incorrectly into a simple statement. She cleared her throat a little as she nodded. "Y...yes," she said. "This mission in particular was a good one for securing things over there; hopefully, they will not need my services again for a while."

Alphonse had to wonder, with a comment like that, if Setsuna even liked her job at all; she always seemed so reluctant about doing them. Then again, it sounded that whenever she had to, it was usually because something went wrong, and he could understand the hesitance behind that. "At least it sounds like things went smoothly," he commented. That, and she didn't look like she had gotten harmed, this time.

"Very smoothly," Setsuna nodded. "I couldn't have asked for a smoother mission, really. I have to admit, I've improved greatly since coming here. Even my employers seemed to have taken notice..."

"Really? That's even better! You do train a lot-- all that work must have paid off."

A light smile returned. "Yeah. I guess it kinda has, hasn't it?"

"There's a clichéd saying that says practice makes perfect," Alphonse chuckled. "But anyway, I'm glad your weekend went all right."

"Yeah," Setsuna said softly. "It's nice to be back, though..."

"Mmmm." Alphonse stared off in thought. "Come to think of it, I should probably visit back home for a little bit, soon. It's been almost a year."

"You know," Setsuna smiled a little. "We've still yet to take each other to visit each other's homes like we always said we would do..."

"Huh. No, we haven't," he said. "We should really plan when that'll work for us, huh?"

Setsuna's shoulders lifted a little. "If...you're still interested, that is..."

"Of course!" Alphonse assured. "I would love it, and I'm sure Granny and Winry wouldn't mind at all if you stayed, either."

"I'd love to meet them," Setsuna nodded her head. "And, well, you've met Konoka-Ojou-sama when she's visited, but there is Elder Konoe and Negi-sensei...and now I've got Edward to...remeet, I suppose..."

"Mm-hmm; and I keep hearing about Japan, too, so maybe a visit is in order..."

And with all that money she'd pulled in from this weekend...managing that would be a snap. She could probably even treat Alphonse to a first class flight, like when she went with the twins, Matilda, and...Ranma...

Setsuna shifted slightly in her seat for a moment.

"Alright then," Alphonse said. "Next time I go, I'll let you know, too. And then we can see if we can work things out."
