Jackalope campfire, Tuesday evening

After chatting with his brother and Dawn, Dean wandered back over to his own cabin, grabbed a soda and some campfire friendly food and settled down outside intent on just kicking back and relaxing.

"Hey Bridge," Dean said with a welcoming smile. "How's it going?"

"Pretty great," Bridge grins back. "Especially since word of the school blowing up apparently hasn't reached home yet."

"Heh. Dad being here means I don't have to worry about word getting back," Dean said. "Which is a good thing. Usually."

"I guess it depends on whether it's stuff you're responsible for or involved in, or not?" Bridge questions.

"Pretty much," Dean said. "And if I got caught."

Bridge snickers at that. "At least I can legitimately claim to not be involved in the school blowing up, this time. Hopefully if word *does* reach back home that will be taken in to account."

Dean chuckled. "It really kinda sums up this place that you have to specify this time."

"Uh, actually?" Bridge says sheepishly. "I may have. Um. Been involved in a particular incident that resulted in SPD Academy being kinda uninhabitable at the moment, hence me being sent here in the first place."

"Dude," Dean said, sounding impressed.

"I really should have learned to anticipate disaster when working with a person nicknamed Boom," Bridge admits.

"Yeah, that could be a big hint alright."

"It turned out alright, though," Bridge says. "Because I had to get sent to a non-exploded school where I could still learn the things I'd be learning at the Academy, which would be here. So now I just have to hope they won't decide to pull Z and I out of *here* and send us yet somewhere else."
