Since she had no workshops today, Molly had slept in and then spent the majority of the day puttering around the cabin. The glittery was getting to her though. So, she went to sit outside for a while with her back to the cabin. She ignored the fact that she was almost as glittery as the cabin by now.

"Right," Mel said. "So what's new with you Summers?"

"I may be going home for a visit, if Buffy ever writes back or remembers how to dial a phone. If I can bring people, you want to come? We have vampires..."

Mel doesn't let Dawn finish the statement. "I'm there! Let's go. Where are we going? Know what? Don't care. I'll just get my axe and we'll leave now."

"Scotland, and I don't knooooooooooow." One word shouldn't have so many syllables. Or at least not that word. "Stupid Buffy. Stupid possible impending apocalypse."

"There's an apocalypse?" Mel whined. "But I'm stuck here in non-apocalypse land! Let's GOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

"I don't know," she threw up her hands in a very flaily manner, "but she hasn't called and she hasn't written, so either she's just forgotten my existence or she's busy. It's May, so if it's business, either she's getting married or there's an apocalypse."

"God, I hope there's an apocalypse."

"Maybe her marriage is the apocalypse," Mel pointed out. "We should rescue her before she becomes a demon bride."

"How much of the Watcher's diaries did you read?" Dawn asked, "Any of those about Buffy? Because there was a thing, and she was almost, and then I was almost, and then Xander was almost, and it was...well, it was different."

"I got up to the part where some Wesley guy took over in the journals," Mel replied. "Then I had to stop. That guy was just waaaaay too uptight. You were almost a demon bride? Was the dress pretty?""

"Not really my style. Baby blue and satin and lace. Ugh." Dawn made a face, "And you should check out the journals once Wes got canned. Giles went back to writing them and they're not nearly as boring."
