Kraken Campfire, Later Tuesday Night

Rikku hoped it wasn't too dark that people wouldn't be able to see that she now had purple hair.

Aly was on her short list of Favorite Teachers Ever.

She hoped the Kraken bathroom had recovered from any possible dye-related mishaps.

Rikku sat in front of the campfire, bouncing to herself. Ready to chat the ear off anybody and everybody who dropped by.

Donatello took a seat at what seemed like an open campfire, feeilng like he needed some socialization, and grinned at Rikku. "Nice hair," he said. "I like the color."

"Let me guess," Bridge says upon seeing Donatello. "You're one of Mikey's brothers."

"Amazing guess," Donnie said, grinning. "I'm Donatello."

"I'm Bridge," Bridge says. "Mikey's brother too. Only in the school-assigned sibling kind of way, not in the grew up in the same household kinda way," he says.

"Oh, big sibling? I got Luke," Donnie nodded. "Nice to meet you, Bridge."

"Totally mutual, dude," Bridge says. "How do you like Fandom and workshops and everything so far?" he asks.

"Thank you!" Rikku grinned. "It's usually blonde but I got some dye from Aly. And whoa, you must be one of Mikey's brothers, right? He totally came on our mutiny!"

"I'm definitely one of Mikey's brothers," Donatello confirmed. "You were one of the naked people who got in trouble? What was that about, anyway?"

"Oh! Yeah!" Rikku giggled, blushing. "I mean, I wasn't naked. I was one of the people, but I had a swimsuit on and a skirt over it, and that's totally not naked, right?"

She took a breath. "Okay, uh, a month or two ago? A bunch of us were up way too late - maybe way too early - kinda inbetween, and we decided that the school needed to have a mutiny. Against rules and tyranny and whatever, and so we all went out to decorate the vice-principal's office with glitter and posters and we kinda decided we should mutiny against clothes, too, so some of the people stripped down. And they were hot guys so I didn't object."

"Anyway, we got in trouble but it's just detention, no big deal, so we come out to the cabins and Seely was there, one of the people from the mutiny before? And I hadn't seen him since and we were all, 'Dude, we should do it again.' But, you know, this time, with even more posters, maybe little figurines of kittens and bunnies, and a movie about princess ponies on parade."

She nodded. "And of course the nudity. And your brother came along, too, 'cause he kinda just got roped into it. I warned him about the detention. Sorry."

Donnie didn't seem overwhelmed by Rikku's sudden explosion of explanation - he did know Mikey, after all - and he grinned, nodding. "Yeah, that sounds like him. I'm sure he was quite happy to join in, really, no matter the punishment."

"They kinda nailed us with that one," Rikku said, making a face. "They said we could go to detention half-naked and we were all 'you bet!' and then they said, 'Okay, detention is in Canada.' Jude was okay 'cause he's from there and apparently they're all freaks or something, and I swiped his toque, but Seely got sick and wouldn't put his shirt back on." She rolled her eyes.

And then considered something. "Oh, uh. So. Mikey? He's ... the prankster type, usually?" No reason. Just asking.

Mel blinked at Donatello. "Okay. You're a turtle."

"Yep," Donnie confirmed, smiling. "I guess you've managed not to meet any of my brothers so far - I'm Donatello."

"Nope. I sure haven't," Mel said still kind of boggling at the turtleness. "Are you from another planet?"

"Nope, New York," he said brightly. "We're not aliens, just mutated turtles."

"Ahhh," Mel said now understanding. "Got overradiated?"

Hermione tilts her head.

"Hi," Donnie greeted, waving at Hermione. "I'm Donatello, and, yes, I'm a turtle."

"I noticed. I don't think I've ever met one before," she says.

That's a damn lie. She knows she's never met a turtle.

"I'm Hermione. Pleased to meet you."

"Just over a year now," she nods. "How do you like Fandom so far?"

"Very well, thank you," he replied, smiling. "And you?"

"Sleepless," she said honestly. "But in pleasant company, at least. Are you enjoying your workshops?"

"Only one - Glitter." Donnie sighed. "I think I won some sort of bad workshop lottery with the others." He tilted his head slightly. "Do you usually have trouble sleeping?"
