Fourth Floor Common Room [late evening]
Aravis couldn't sleep, yet again, and rather than disturb Karal, she'd risen and pulled her dressing gown around herself, and wandered out to the common room.
She picked up the odd little box that controlled the television's light, and illuminated the TV. She settled herself on a sofa, content to watch whatever this program might be. It seemed to be about four elderly women.
[open as CRs tend to be.]

"I hope this isn't more pro-knife propaganda?" she laughed, pointing to the TV.

She looked between him and Aravis with a light smile, perfectly willing to find another common room if they were seeking a little alone time.

He had with him all of his worldly possessions. A pair of spare pants slung over one shoulder, and some junk crammed into his pockets.
Common rooms were a good place to pass the time, and he planned on doing so while juggling.

Pizza? Juggling. Pizza. Juggling? Pizza!
Valentine pocketed his juggling balls and made a beeline for the food.
Food before manners. It was unwritten law. For real.

It took her a moment to remember. "Oh, my apologies, one moment." She reached into her sketchpad, flipping idly to find the paper mask he'd made for her.

"I've heard that the doors have been giving people a difficult time. I'll probably just wander for a while longer before I go back, and maybe my new roomie will have tamed the knob by then."
