Fourth Floor Common Room [late evening]

Aravis could, once again, not sleep. So tonight she was curled up on the couch (where she had absolutely not fallen asleep the night before) and was watching whatever had come up on the television while sipping tea and poking at a roll of something called Rolos that she'd handwavily gotten earlier, along with a heap of other candies.

She would probably welcome company. And maybe share her candy. Maybe.

For old time's sake (what? It did feel like it'd been a while), Setsuna poked her head into the common room. "Anything interesting?"

"To prove the point," Setsuna said, moving into the room and taking a seat in a nearby chair. "It is no good when one can only take your word for it; sometimes, you have to cut a man before they believe they can bleed..."

Laundry detergent, cutting people. Eerily closely connected in Setsuna's mind.

"Oh!" Setsuna straightened, returning the bow of the head. Apparently, discussing stains was intriguing enough to make her forget her manners. "My apologies for the same! Setsuna Sakurazaki. Very nice to meet you."

"Oh, no," Setsuna shook her head a little, a hand to her chest lightly for a moment before it settled in her lap. "I've been attending Fandom since last summer, actually. So, if you have any questions....although, really, I'm sure you've had plenty of chances for all of that already."

"Oh, yes, thank you," Setsuna's head bobbed in brief sort of bow before her hand dived into the bag to retrieve a polite amount. "Where are you from, then, if I might ask? I know a certain level of culture shock is common around here for new students."

"Oh, yes, I do know Peter!" Setsuna smiled. "We've been good friends since we met last summer. So...your country is a neighbour of Narnia, then?"

"What makes them somewhat of an enemy?" Setsuna asked, head tilted.

Hastily, she added, "If you don't mind me asking, of course."

"Turned into an ass?" Setsuna couldn't help but be a little bit fascinated; it was almost like some of the stories from her Edo romances. "By who?"

Setsuna nodded. "Peter has mentioned Aslan to me before, yes. And it is rather good to hear that justice would be served in such a manner." It was like the utilization of karma for reincarnation, it seemed. Without the death part.

"HEL-LO!" Animal greeted the girl with a wave of his muppet arm.

Although she knew it was entirely impolite to stare, Setsuna found she couldn't exactly help herself. She did, however, manage a nice nod. "Um, hello...." She lifted a tentative hand and gave a small wave back.

"ANIMAL! ANIMAL!" he shouted.

Yes he was introducing himself.

Other people might not take it that way.

Setsuna was quiet, still rather staring at the...creature, she supposed would be the best name for the moment, for a while before she thought of something to say. "Is...is that your name? Animal?"

Was this...someone's pet? What...was it? He? She?
