Fourth Floor Common Room [late evening]

Aravis could, once again, not sleep. So tonight she was curled up on the couch (where she had absolutely not fallen asleep the night before) and was watching whatever had come up on the television while sipping tea and poking at a roll of something called Rolos that she'd handwavily gotten earlier, along with a heap of other candies.

She would probably welcome company. And maybe share her candy. Maybe.

"Football, you mean?" Peter teased.

"You know what I mean," Conner said, shooting him a quick mock glare in amusement. "I just can't call it that on the flyers or all the American kids are gonna get confused."

He tilted his head and grinned mischievously. "Not that I haven't considered throwing in a little bit about calling it football in the curriculum or anything."

"Have to train them right now so they'll carry it on to the next generation and fix your country's strange obsession," Peter laughed.

Conner snickered. "You think I can get away with a class in Why Padding Is For Wusses?"

"True," he conceded. "This is supposed to be for little kids, after all. How about 'Padding Will Only Slow You Down?'"
