Fourth Floor Common Room [late evening]

Aravis could, once again, not sleep. So tonight she was curled up on the couch (where she had absolutely not fallen asleep the night before) and was watching whatever had come up on the television while sipping tea and poking at a roll of something called Rolos that she'd handwavily gotten earlier, along with a heap of other candies.

She would probably welcome company. And maybe share her candy. Maybe.

"Oh, I see," Teddy said with a grin. "A king is so much more royal than an emperor that it'll break a curse, huh?"

Peter chuckled. "Perhaps it's the double blow of King and Emperor I brought to the table."

He nodded. "You've got me there, but now that makes me want to come up with a fake second title." Teddy grinned at him. "Like, Grand Duke of Orion's Belt."

"Yes, I hear Grand Duke is the popular thing this time of year," Peter joked. "Excellent choice."

"I thought so," Teddy replied, lifting his chin proudly. "Does this mean you need a third title to take the lead again?"

"Already have one," Peter grinned. "Though your shiny new ducal seat is still quite nice."

Teddy sighed dramatically. "Foiled again!"

"You got the superpowers so I think you'll have to cope with this one," Peter replied.
