Third Floor Common Room: Late Evening

Anyone wondering why there is loud booming noises this late at night might find that it would be the result of a muppet playing drums.

Loudly.

While wearing a mumu with balloons stuffed under it.

It's probably best not to ask why. Not that Animal would be able to explain it anyway.

Especially since Animal is in the middle of a drum solo that would make Neil Peart want to stab his eyes out with his own drumsticks.

"BEAT DRUM! BEAT DRUM!"

[ooc: open!]

Tori happened to be out in the hallway, when she heard the loud noises. Frowning, she followed the noises and ended up in the common room.

And couldn't help but stare at the sight before her.

"I don't think that's such a good idea." Tori winced, wondering what might stop him from doing that.

She had to admit. He was kind of adorable, especially when confused.

"Maybe you should eat something better, some real food." Tori wracked her brain as to what. "Oh, like cupcakes!" She grinned. "Hang on, I'll be right back."

The wind ninja used her ninja speed to run back to her room and grab the few cupcakes left, making it back to the common room in a matter of seconds. "Like these."

Inara wandered into the common room in her robe, planning on making herself some tea, when she spotted Animal. In his mumu and balloons. "Ah, hello?"

Inara didn't move, just in case. "Inara," she introduced herself.

"Nice to meet you, Animal," Inara edged slowly toward the cupboards, determined not to be shocked, "Would you like some tea?"

Tori spotted the unfamiliar girl and waved, still slightly confused by Animal's antics.

"Hello," Inara greeted the other girl.

"I'm Tori, recent graduate from 304." Tori smiled, extending her hand to Inara when she was close enough. "Are you a new student?"

"I'm Inara, and yes, is it that obvious?" She asked with a smile as she took Tori's hand and shook it.

Zack wandered into the common room. "Evening."

[identity profile] twohalvesofaphd.livejournal.com 2007-06-07 04:52 am (UTC)(link)
"New kid?" Zack asked, waving back.

[identity profile] twohalvesofaphd.livejournal.com 2007-06-07 05:00 am (UTC)(link)
"Zack," he said. "It's good to meet you, Animal."

And to think, this time last year, he would have been flailing over this.

[identity profile] water-wonder.livejournal.com 2007-06-07 04:50 am (UTC)(link)
"Hey Zack." Tori grinned and waved.

[identity profile] twohalvesofaphd.livejournal.com 2007-06-07 04:53 am (UTC)(link)
"Hey, Tori," Zack grinned back. "How are things?"

[identity profile] water-wonder.livejournal.com 2007-06-07 04:55 am (UTC)(link)
"Great, couldn't be better." Tori smiled brightly. "You?"

[identity profile] ambassadorinara.livejournal.com 2007-06-07 05:00 am (UTC)(link)
"Hello," Inara greeted him from where she was waiting for the tea to be done steeping.

[identity profile] twohalvesofaphd.livejournal.com 2007-06-07 05:03 am (UTC)(link)
"Hi," Zack said. "New kid?"

[identity profile] ambassadorinara.livejournal.com 2007-06-07 05:08 am (UTC)(link)
She glanced down at herself, "Am I wearing a sign?"
