Front lawn - Thursday morning

It was a really nice morning and Molly missed the cabins and the campfire pits enough to grab a blanket and a few comics and go sit outside in the sun to read. Spreading the blanket out, she sat down and tucked the comics under her leg. The plan to read lasted all of two minutes as she flopped onto her back and just enjoyed the weather.

Animal was still wearing a mumu but had lost most of his balloons.

This did not stop him from chasing after a squirrel across the front lawn.

"SQUIRREL! SQUIRREL! HAH! HAH! HAH! HAH!"

Molly sat up and looked around for whoever was yelling. She spotted Animal and raised an eyebrow. She'd seen him around so she knew he was supposed to be here, but she hadn't met him yet.

"You'd better be careful with the squirrels," she called. "If you're mean to them they may say bad things about you on the radio."

Animal looks at the squirrel that he has caught in his hand and then back at Molly with a confused expression.

"RAY-DEE-OH?"

"Haven't you heard the radio show yet?" Molly asked. "The squirrels collect information for it."

"ANIMAL!" Robin cried out joyfully.

Mel was strolling by and waved at Molly. "Hey Hayes. How are you doing?"

Molly smiled and waved back. "I'm great! How are you?"

"Rocketship," Mel said with a grin. "Dawn's taking me to Scotland to kill some lurks. Best. Trip. EVER."

"Me too!" Molly said excitedly. "Rocketship!" She hoped she used that right.

Animal sees Mel and his eyes widen. "WOOO-MAN! WOOO-MAN!" he yelled charging toward her.

Mel took one look at Animal and glared. "Don't even think about it, fuzzball."

Katara flopped down beside Molly, cookies and lemonade in her bag. "I forgot to go to work yesterday," she said.

"Oops!" Molly said. "Did your boss call you?"

"Apparently it was supposed to be closed for Queensland Day!" Katara said. "Which works out very well."

"Hey Kat," Mel said with a wave. "How's it going?"

"Hi Mel," Katara said with a grin. "It's good!" She looked through her bag. "Want a cookie?"

John sat down on the ground. "Hey there Molly!" He was smiling, but a discerning observer would suspect something was up.

Molly eyed John because she could be rather discerning at times. "Hey, John. What's up?"

John looked at Molly and decided she wouldn't totally hate him if he actually told her. "I was stupid and did a not-so-nice retaliatory thing. And then I got caught," he told the ground.

After reading the post properly, Dawn wasn't used to being up so early, so she and her coffee flopped on the ground near Molly. "Hi," she yawned.

John waved at Dawn, "Thanks for the note! Did you want to keep your souvenir?"

"No, I handed those in," Dawn said, blushing, "They were my assignment. Please tell me you got them back and he's not keeping them for something?"

"Hey, Dawn!" Molly greeted her with a smile. "Did you get my handwavey message yesterday? That I got your note?"

"Uh huh," she nodded, "I'm so glad you're coming. It will hopefully be fun, but it shouldn't be boring."

Robin also had the idea of coming out to enjoy the weather, and try his hand at tree climbing. He wasn't a tree frog, but how hard could it be?
