Fifth Floor Common Room - Tuesday Evening

After work, John set himself up with food and in the common room.  He flipped through the channels before settling on the thriller The Bleating of the Bunnies.  "What kind of person would wear someone's skin?" he asked the screen, shaking his head.

Obviously John hadn't read the book.

"Oh, gross!"

Turtle, who was bored, was floor hopping for something interesting. She'd found it. She came in and unceremoniously plopped on the couch.

"What the heck are you watching?"

"The guide says it's The Bleating of the Bunnies," he answered smiling at Turtle. "I'd heard it was weird, but the lotion thing is just too much."

"Hey, Turtle." Charlie grinned when she saw her friend, and flopped down on one of the couches. "Nomadic Celtic Chef plays with fire!"

Do I hear Anthony Hopkins?" Billy asked, poking his head into the room.

Turtle gave Billy an idle wave from the couch. "S'up, Eyepatch?"

Charlie wandered in after her classes and dinner, and waved to Turtle and the guy she didn't know. "Hey. What are you watching?" She glanced at the screen. "Ack."

"The Bleating of the Bunnies," he replied. "It's a little graphic, eh?"

Jim walked up to the common room wearing clown shoes. He loved his classes for that. "Hey," he said, taking a seat. "Interesting movie. It kind of makes me hungry."

"You know, disturbingly enough, me too. You're wearing clown shoes by the way."

"Gross, gross, gross, Jim," Turtle commented with a contemptuous wrinkle of her nose.

Charlie gave him a weirded-out look, that shifted to just plain confused after she saw the shoes. "...uh, really?"

"Nice shoes, Jim," John said with a nod.

Animal whipped his head up and down in agreement with Jim.

"HUN-GRY! HUN-GRY!"

"Okay," said Anders, the (wrapped, luckily) sandwich he'd just bought slipping from his fingers and falling unnoticed to the floor as he stared in horrified fascination at the screen. "That's just nasty."

"You're right. He should have brought condiments," Jim said.

Charlie nodded from her seat on the couch, looking between her fingers. "It really really really is. Is it over yet?"

Animal doesn't say anything but stares at Ander's sandwich on the floor.

"See?" Turtle enthused as she heard that. "I'm not the only one who thinks so!"

Animal wanders into the Common Room. His eyes widen at the screen.

"FAVA BEANS! FAVA BEANS!"

"You've seen this before, huh?" John asked.

Anders, not having met Animal yet, sort of double-took. Then shrugged.

"No, I think my appetite's pretty much shot after this."

Charlie stared at the screen, then Animal, then blinked. "Oh, wow. Please be kidding?"

Setsuna padded shoeless into the common room. She blinked a little at all the people there (certainly didn't expect a small crowd), but she had a mission. She tried to be inconspicuous while going to the fridge and through the cupboards to grab some snacks before returning to Alphonse and the movie.
