Aravis was curled up on the couch, watching the television with a faint mixture of horror and interest.

She had discovered cartoons tonight, you see, and there was a Looney Tunes marathon on.

She had to admit that she really didn't understand why anyone would trust these ACME people anymore, considering the faulty wares they sold.

And she was torn on whether she preferred that annoying, noisy bird, or the poor stupid dog thing that seemed to be indestructible.

"Good ones, too." Adam waved, noting this was someone he hadn't met before.

"Oh, someone else who appreciates good cartoons. Hi," Sam said, giving a little wave.

"Yep, that's me." Adam chuckled. "I'm Adam, by the way."

"I'm Sam. It's nice to meet you. Are you one of the new summer students?"

"Nice to meet you too, Sam." Adam smiled and nodded. "I am, yes. So far, so good."

"Hey, you've almost survived the first half of the summer. That's a very good sign," Sam assured him.

"That's very true." Adam admitted, smiling a bit. "I'm wondering what the rest of the summer will be like."

"Probably just as crazy, only in a slightly different way," Sam replied. "The workshops will probably still be insane, except we might have new crazy people trying to teach us things."

"New crazy people might be fun." Adam smirked. "I'm hoping some of the workshops might be repeated, so I can take the ones I didn't get a chacne to sign up for this time around."
