Fourth Floor Common Room, Sunday Evening

Adam was feeling a bit tired when he made his way into the common room. He made himself a bowl of popcorn and turned on the television, looking for nothing in particular.

Which was why he was now staring at the television in what looked to be a mix of horror and genuine surprise. Adam really didn't know what to make of what he was seeing. "Abaranger?"

Yep, the boy was stunned and now wide awake.

"A lot of fun," Setsuna said, with a grin and even a small bit of a laugh. "A nice way to cool down after that bizarre fun run, that's for sure. I still don't think anything could top the jello dragons, though. That happened at a race-type event, too, so I'm thinking maybe the school should avoid such things in the future; they seem to...attract a bit of hostility from strange creatures."

"Jello dragons?" No, Adam hadn't heard about those yet. For shame, really. "Oh wow. Yeah, maybe they should."

"Oh, the jello dragons were amazing," Setsuna said, with a bit of excitement and a small smile, blushing, remembering how she'd saved Jude. "Of course, I actually could fight those. These were another thing because of my injury." She nodded toward her bandaged arm.

"Oh yeah? Those things gave me quite a run." Adam admitted, wincing as he thought of the scratches he received. He then frowned, immediately concerned. "What happened? Are you all right?"

"It's fine," Setsuna insisted; she found herself tugging at her sleeve and regretting bringing attention to it. It wasn't fine, but she was practising the line for when Alphonse would eventually ask. "It did get a bit of a nasty slice early last week, though...Just a flesh wound."

Adam nodded, smiling slightly. "Okay." He wasn't so sure he believed her, but he'd said the same thing about his scratches the other night. "Well, I'm glad it doesn't seem to be too bad."

Setsuna smiled, giving a slight nod back. "Me, too."

"I'm hoping this week will be a quiet one," Adam chuckled. "But then again this is Fandom, so I really shouldn't expect that."

"It is wont to have the occasional quiet week," Setsuna assured him with a small smile, "though it is rare."

"I bet," Adam grinned. "Especially in a place like this."

"I take it you've enjoyed it so far?" Setsuna asked. "Almost surviving through a full Fandom semester. Always impressive."

"Yes. I have," Adam nodded, smiling brightly. "I guess so." He shrugged.

"And where are you from, originally?" Setsuna asked. "I apologize if we've covered this before; sometimes, it's hard to keep everyone straight unless I've spoken with them often."

"Angel Grove, California," Adam answered. "Oh, no apologies necessary. I totally understand."

"Is that anywhere near Hollywood?"

Hollywood, being where Marco had recently revealed he was from, was about the only place in California that Setsuna knew about.

"It's a bit north of there," Adam explained.
