Cheerleader Practice, Wednesday, Afternoon, Gym

Buffy was extra bouncy today since it was the last practice she'd be to for a while. She made everything ready, and then when everyone had arrived, she clapped her hands. "Hey guys! I thought I'd let you know that I've given a suggestion for a cheer camp list... thing... paper to the office, and I'm hoping for a positive reply! I'm going home - well, to my mom - next week, so this'll be my last practice until fall semester." She glanced over at Alec and then Aly and grinned. "I'm sure Alec and Coach Aly will take good care of you all."

She clapped her hands again. "Okay, have a great practice everyone!"

John smiled and cheered for Buffy, "Go Gremlins! Cheer hard!" He had no idea how to cheer.

Buffy giggled. "Thanks!" she yelled back. Maybe she should get Alec to teach him some cheers.

Molly bounced over to talk to John during a break. "Hi!" She looked around at the other gold team members. "You got them to come!"

John grinned, "It's amazing how useful voicemail can be when it's working."

John scrunched up his face, "The only problem with the idea is that I don't know how to cheer."

Molly giggled. "I think just being here is good enough." She tilted her head and gave him a look of speculation. "Unless you'd like to learn how to cheer."

Molly smirked. "Stand up then," she said.

Molly sighed. "I guess so," she said. "Yelling when you're standing is still better though."

John felt he'd dodged a rather embarrassing bullet. "Great, so what do I yell?"

"Go team! always works," Molly said. "Just make sure you take a deep breath first and project."

John took a deep breath and roared, "Go SQUAD!" He looked around sheepishly, "How was that?"

"That was good!" Molly said with a nod. "Now add in some clapping and a 'woo hoo' or two."

John stared at Molly to make sure she wasn't messing with him. He raised his arms to clap at chin height while he shouted, "Go Gremlins! Cheer your hearts out!"
