Cheerleader Practice, Wednesday, Afternoon, Gym

Buffy was extra bouncy today since it was the last practice she'd be to for a while. She made everything ready, and then when everyone had arrived, she clapped her hands. "Hey guys! I thought I'd let you know that I've given a suggestion for a cheer camp list... thing... paper to the office, and I'm hoping for a positive reply! I'm going home - well, to my mom - next week, so this'll be my last practice until fall semester." She glanced over at Alec and then Aly and grinned. "I'm sure Alec and Coach Aly will take good care of you all."

She clapped her hands again. "Okay, have a great practice everyone!"

"Karse is landlocked," he explained. "I had seen paintings of the sea, read tales of people who had journeyed over it, but it in no way prepared me for the reality. It will be nice to share it with you. We can walk in the surf and you can tell me what it was like to grow up so close to the ocean."
