Second floor common room - Friday afternoon

Faile sat crossed-legged on the floor in front of the TV. She tucked her divided skirts around her bare feet and leaned forward a bit more.

"Do it again," she commanded John who sat on the couch behind her, holding the remote control.

"I am new," Faile confirmed with a nod. "I arrived three days ago, in fact. I call myself Faile." She pronounced it fah-EEL. "It is nice to meet you."

"So it is okay to visit the common rooms on different floors without an invitation?" Faile asked. She had been wondering about that. "Unless you have come here with an invitation." She gave Marco a questioning look.
