Second floor common room - Friday afternoon

Faile sat crossed-legged on the floor in front of the TV. She tucked her divided skirts around her bare feet and leaned forward a bit more.

"Do it again," she commanded John who sat on the couch behind her, holding the remote control.

She was like that sometimes. Just talked and talked whether someone understood or not.

"Oh, I did, course I couldn't eat all mine but he loved his. It went really good. I really like Andrew, he's nice and funny and loves him some pie!" She giggled.

"Yeah, Andrew seemed really nice," John said. "I talked with him for a couple minutes at the welcome picnic, but he started acting really strange. But hey, if he likes pie, maybe I should try to talk to him again sometime."

"What do you mean strange?" She asked, brows raised.

"Well, I gave him a bottle of water and he acted like there was poison in it or something," John explained.

"What? Wow. That is a little different, isn't it?" She thought about her and Andrew's conversation yesterday. "He, uh, didn't think you were a demon or anything did he?"

John raised an eyebrow, "Do I look like a demon?"

Annette seemed to study his face for longer than was probably necessary. "You'd be a hot demon if you were a demon. But I don't think so. Then again, Bel doesn't look like a demon either."

John rolled his eyes. "I'm not a demon, and I never thought being friendly could make someone suspect me of being a demon," John said. "What makes you think Andrew thought I was a demon, anyways?"

She waved her hand, "He does stuff with demons. I'm not exactly sure but I plan on visiting him in is room to see for myself. Maybe he thought it was holy water? Maybe Andrew is actually the demon." Now there's a thought.

"Hmm. I'll have to ask him about that when I see him again," John said thoughtfully. "Maybe Dawn could tell if he was a demon or not. She seems to know all about that stuff."

"Or Dean..." Annette thought for a minute. Mmm. "Yeah, totally."

"Right, I bet Dean could help with that too." He hadn't talked to his cabinmate in a while. "So, you and Dick doing better now?"

She smiled brightly, "He apologized and I apologized, for whatever I did wrong, and so, yeah. He doesn't want to date anyone else."

"I'm glad it's all worked out," John said. "I hate to see you so upset like you were on Tuesday."

She looked down and blushed and mumbled, "I'm sorry about that, John." Cause it was embarrassing to think about now - how she almost got sick.

"No problem, Annette," he said with a grin. "You just owe me pie, now."
