Fourth Floor Common Room; Wednesday Evening.

Slumped comfortably on the couch, A.J. sat sketching, with a very untouched sandwich sitting on a plate on the nearby endtable. He was working on a new piece of abstract art and ended up getting rather engrossed in it. To a point where he not only forgot about the sandwich, but he was also forgetting about where he was, what he was doing, what it was about. Entirely caught up in the moment. He loved when the art took on a force of its own and simply seemed to be using him and his pencils as a channel for giving them life....

[[ open, of course, as common rooms are, yay! ]]

"Oh," she said, thinking about that. "I didn't know that about abstract art. And I certainly wouldn't want you to do something that is uncomfortable or force-like. Hmm." She sat back down on her bottom, on the floor, one forearm still draped along the edge of the couch. Looking at the TV she said, "I can't design anything. I'm not good at art, not really." Looking back, she met his eyes and smiled, "Maybe we'll just go with flowers or something. Soft, romantic...something along those lines."

She shrugged, "No, not really. The closest thing to art for me is the posters I make for cheerleading. And the squares I helped you paint on your wall. Why do you grin when you say that? Is it funny? Do you really know what a Wii is and you're just teasing me?" she grinned, giving him a look. "And there is no beating Annette at Twister. I rule!"

She had dealt with inspiration sometimes - nine times out of ten she ignored it. Sometimes Annette could be a total coward.

She giggled and scrunched up her shoulders, "I don't know! But whoever made up the name has got to be rich!"

Annette went to poke his leg, "People become rich off the silliest things, A.J., one just never knows. Look at you, you could be filthy rich one day by just doodling."

"Then maybe we should get married and all your proceeds will go to me," she teased, grinning wide.

She tilted her head back and laughed, "I never claimed to be sweet."

"Aaaah, what's that supposed to mean?" She mock pouted, folding her arms across her chest.

She looked up at him through her lashes, poking her bottom lip out more, "Can too, Pout Master the second."

"Nooo, you're Pout Master the second. I'm the first." She grinned cause trying to pout got old fast.

Sighing, Annette slouched back against the couch, stretching her legs out in front of her, and stared at the TV. "This channel always makes you hungry. How old are you, A.J.?"

"Seventeen," she said, turning around to look at him.

"March fifteenth," she replied. "Yours?"

She shook her head, grinning, "Fine by me. No one likes a pouter anyway. Unless your're totally cute at it." She paused. "Okay, so like your're totally cute at it. But are you going to be a senior or a junior?"
