Third Floor Common Room, Wednesday Night

Rikku was chilling out in the third floor common room, in her PJs and with some of her birthday gifts in tow.

Hey, Hamlet had gotten her a candy basket, that meant he wanted her to have it, right? And some Lucas guy had brought her a whole case of some neat-tasting stuff to wash it down with.

She couldn't think of a better way to zap out her emo than to get hopped up on candy and whatever this Jolt stuff was and watch some movies.

"Rikku! You're back!" Dawn ran over to give her a squeezy tackle-glomp hug.

"Dawn!!!" The hug back was every bit and squeezy and glompy. With some bouncing in. "Yeah! I'm all ... I'm okay, I mean not okay but better, yeah? Oh! And Jude's a guy again! And ..." Her eyes widened and she blushed some. "And nothing just you know, that's good, right? Yeah! Okay! Hey! You should change into your PJs, too! I have candy! And some of this stuff! It tastes neat! Yeah? You should try it!"

That was weird. Rikku almost felt like she was talking even faster than usual.

Dawn noted the bouncing with relief. It meant that Rikku was healing, which was good. "Yay for you being better and Jude being a guy and what was the blush about?"

She looked down at her shorts and tank top. "What kind of candy and oh my god, is that Jolt? I love that, but I was only allowed to have a couple of sips once because Buffy said it would stunt my growth, although, hi, irony, table for Buffy there, because she's all wee and I'm not, y'know?"

"Do I really need my jammies?"

At about the same time as a Z wandered into the fourth floor common room upstairs, another one entered the third floor common room. "Hey, Rikku," said Z. "Whatcha got there?"

"Candy!" Rikku bounced. A lot. "Lots of it! Have some! And some of this stuff! I have a lot! Wanna share? Do you have PJs? We should totally watch movies! How are you?!"

She stopped for breath and giggled.

Z was guessing Rikku had already had quite a bit of candy. "Sure!" she said. "I could get PJs! Hang on a second." She left then, and returned a few minutes later wearing the Truly Unfortunate Pajamas of the Future. "Ta-da!"

"Z! Hi. Long time no see," Charlie said, curling up on one of the couches. "How's it going?"

"Hey, Charlie!" Z said. The Jolt hadn't taken hold yet, so she was only moderatly bouncy. "It's going all right. I heard there were dinosaurs this weekend!"

"Hey, Rikku," Charlie said, coming in after wandering down from 4th. "Oooo, candy?"

"You betcha!" Rikku announced, bouncing and waving to Charlie. "Courtesy of an old friend of mine. Grab some PJs, we're gonna get high on sugar and watch movies and be stupid!"

Charlie got back in her pj's, and grabbed a Jolt before lying down on a cushion. "What movies, and what's the occasion? Just the free candy?" She took some and unwrapped it, popping it in her mouth.

Dean sometimes seemed to have a sixth sense to free food, especially junk food. this would be one of those times.

"Hey, candy," he observed with a hopeful grin .

"Totally!" Rikku bounced. "Come in, have some! There's some of this stuff too and I don't know what it is but it's soooooooo good." She gestured vaguely to the case of Jolt, which already had a couple of cans missing. "Come party with us!"

Dean grabbed some candy and glanced over at the Jolt cola. "That's pretty much just a caffiene delivery system," he advised around a mouthful of sugar.

Charlie waved from her cushion, wearing pj's and scarfing Jolt. "Hey, Dean. Join the party." Four days later, and she felt a little awkward saying 'hey' to him, but not too bad. "How's it going?"

"And Jolt!" Dawn added from her spot on the floor where she was cracking open a can. Sadly, it was her first. "You should have some!"

"Dean, hi!" Z said, totally unconcerned that Dean was seeing her in her Truly Unfortunate Pajamas of the Future. She held up a can of Jolt and said, "This stuff is really good!"

Luke poked his head into the common room. "You're not going to call me Luuuuuuuuuuuuke again, are you?" he teased.

Rikku giggled and reached over to Luuuuuuuuuke for a hug. "Not unless you ask nicely! Hey, how come they had magic weapons of peace and mellowness? That's so cool!"

Dawn, now in her jammies, was waving her half-full can of Jolt at Luke. "Hi!!!! I wasn't going to, but I can if it would make you feel better!" She took a bite of candy.

Charlie waved as she gulped down Jolt, then swallowed and said, "Hey, Luke. Did you have fun this weekend?"

"Roomie!" Z cried happily. "We have soda and candy and pajamas!"

Setsuna was on her way up to her room when she got distracted by sounds coming from the third floor common room and poked her head in to investigate despite crashing soon, lol hi SP!.

Charlie waved to Setsuna, and said, "Grab a Jolt! Get your pajamas! We're having a party!"

Rikku waved happily. "Setsuna! Hi! Come in! There's candy! And this stuff! It's like soda but even more! And kinda caffeine something! You need pajamas! Do you have some?! Come in!!!"

Rikku had already put a serious dent in the Jolt-and-candy stash. Which was probably obvious from the way she resembled a hummingbird.
