Fifth Floor Common Room, Saturday Morning

It would probably be better, all things considered, if Jeff never ever talked to Jack ever again.

As it was, he was standing (well, hanging over the back of the couch) in the common room, watching television, wearing shorts and a naked cat (on his shoulder, not anywhere dirty), and not really much else.

He was watching nature documentaries again. He may have been explaining a few mildly obscene things to Prince Oscar Pedro in the process.

[ Open. Chad's cat modded with permission. I'll be around for the next hour, should anyone actually be up, then pick up any potential dangly pings when I get home, which will probably be right about when everybody gets up ]

Jack had woken early, and - not wanting to wake up Cedric - had gone wandering through the dorms. Which would be why he was sticking his head in the door of the fifth floor common room. "Well, I'll be damned," he muttered, then, louder and after a good long look, "Good morning, Jeff."

Jeff stood up straight (taking great care not to drop Prince Oscar Pedro) and grinned. "Hi!" he said. He seemed altogether more upbeat than usual.

Katara was still blushing when she noticed mostly naked Jack in the room too. "...did I miss a poster saying that this was naked day?"

"Good morning, Jack," Ronan said, smiling warmly. "How goes the day?"

Katara had wandered upstairs looking for hot chocolate. Nearly naked men and her roommate's naked cat were not expected. Turning a bright shade of red, she tried not to look.

Jeff... blinked. For some reason, women hadn't quite factored into his plans this morning (which was a first, but then, nudity tended to skew one's priorities). "...We're bonding!" he said, panicked alarm tainting his voice. "It's nothing illegal!"

Annette had stumbled out of bed, threw on her robe, and headed down the hall to the common room. Pop Tarts and orange juice. She was starving.

Rubbing her eyes she shuffled in and noticed Chad's cat first on her way to the kitchen. "Hey Prince Oscar Pedro..." shuffle shuffle - then she noticed Jeff and looked back. She rubbed her eyes again.

"What, no hello for me?" Jack pouted in Annette's direction and made a Very Sad face. "I'm crushed."

Prince Oscar Pedro probably mewed hello in a broken fashion; Jeff couldn't tell, partially because Prince Oscar Pedro was Japanese and he didn't speak the language, and partially because he was sort of naked, here, wasn't he?

This was a thing about nudity he really should've prepared for.

Dawn hadn't really slept yet, high on caffeine and OMGNEWBABYness. So, when she stopped in to the fifth floor in search of yet more coffee and spotted nearly naked Jack, she wasn't completely coherent.

"Pretty." She blinked and grinned at him dazedly, still not realizing that she hadn't seen Jack in a few months.

"Just what I was going to say," Jack laughed, her sling squashing his impulse to scoop her into a hug. Instead, he walked over to offer her his cup of coffee. "Morning, Dawn."

Faile was wandering around and heard voices in the common room. She still needed to meet more people so she went in. "Hello," she greeted the room in general.

"Oh, God," Jeff said, looking every bit as miserable as he'd been cheerful earlier. "You really are like locusts!"

"And hello right back." Jack waved with the hand not holding his coffee, totally unconcerned that he was wearing only a pair of boxer shorts. "Jack Harkness, and I know I haven't met you. I'd remember."

Katara waved at the other girl. "Don't mind the crazy boys in here, I think they're mostly harmless. Jack is too nice to be harmful at any rate."

Ronan smiled warmly, and gave a small wave. "Hello. I don't believe we've yet met?"

Stumbling into the common room, Jo was on a quest for coffee. "Morning," she said distractedly, focused more on caffeine than anything else.

Alec had no reason to be on the fifth floor, except that there were people there and he'd been holed up in his room with his knitting.

Noticing the lack of male modesty in the room, he pulled off his shirt with a shrug; far be it for him to go against the status quo when it let him be a show off.

Jack waved one bare leg at him, and also took the opportunity to enjoy the view. "We're going pantsless as well. Up to a certain point, anyway."

Hermione could actually overlook any nudity. She kind of expected it from Alec. "Did you get my voicemail?" she asked. It was the same thing as a hello.

Hermione was being strategic, half trying to suss out who actually had a problem with her as of yesterday's announcements, so she brought her knitting out to the place that seemed to have the most voices coming from it.

There may have been a moment of staring when she saw Jeff. She wondered if she could maybe quickly knit him a sweater?

Following the sounds of people, Seely made his way to the common room. Grinning when he caught sight of the shirtlessness, he started pulling his shirt off.

Jeff gave Seely a thumbs-up from afar. There had to be some kind of nudity equation concerning Jeff's ability to function and communicate.

Abigail headed down the hall at the sound of so many voices coming from the common room, and did a near double take at all of the guys. "Wow. Good morning."

"...Hello," Jeff mumbled, feebly. He was just trying to hide out in the middle of the crowd, now. Hopefully between the men so he wouldn't have to talk to anyone's breasts.

Ronan's shirt was already hanging open as he wandered into the common room, so it was only the matter of a moment to slip it off the rest of the way before waving at the assemblage in the common room. "Hello," he said, to no one in particular.
